Hey Mark. It's true what you say about clickbank. i can't understand all the negative press it gets bearing in mind it's probably the biggest affiliate network for internet marketers. I've never had any problems with them. Then again, I'm not trying to sell a rival product or a product to hide affilate links etc ;)

I use a selection of wysiwyg editors and find NVU just as good and better still, it's free! I used front page many moons ago and don't really know why I stopped? i suppose it's what you get used to.

I, too, have enjoyed reading the tools. Those of us that are on a serious budget are always on the lookout for free or inexpensive tools. For beginners recommendations are very important.

I try to always point out two products when talking about free tools. I am pleased to say that FileZilla nd Nvu are two of the tools I used in my recent beginner books.

I didn't start off with FileZilla but switched recently. It takes awhile to adapt to a new way of doing things but I am quite pleased that I did.

Currently I am using a different free web editor. I keep reading about Nvu and although I worked up beginning lessons for my book, I still haven't switched. Today is the day because of your comments, Mark. I have been having some problems on Step and it is possible that they are coming from the web page editor (no, it is not always me pushing the wrong buttons).

A web page editor will definitely be high on my spending priorities but that just has to wait.

NO, thank you for reading John! :D

Glad you enjoyed the tools, and I appreciate your comments! I personally enjoy using tools that make the job a lot easier for myself, while a recommendation is one thing, it does vary between people like you mentioned!

Speak soon mate!

Thanks

You have mentioned some very useful tools over the past week all of which I have used at one time or another.

I have tried using free and paid methods for almost every aspect of my business but it's by no accident that certain products acquire a great reputation.

e.g Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc

It's all about using the right tool for the job and that will vary between different people and will de dependant on your personal budget. People can't go far wrong by following the advice given in these posts.

I enjoyed the series Mark, thank you.
